Leaves part I: see the leaves how they fly
coloured scraps on a cold grey sky dropped by faithless trees they're blown blown blown
see the leaves how they fly
all they ever think is why
taken by cruel winds
they're gone gone gone
part II:
Last year's autumn leaves were taken by the wind
Flew up high in the sky Waved their colourful good-bye Danced their summerending dance
Like a beautiful romance
Made me laugh and made me smile
Even knowing they would be gone in just a while
This year's autumn leaves are taken by the wind
Wandering aimless through the gray
Only destination is somewhere decay
Reaching their last ground Lying
numb without a sound
color fading, fading life
Will only memories survive?
