The visit to Schwerin was long overdue, and now it finally worked again. Two days of fun and most extraordinary good weather (Peter, thank you again).
first destination on Saturday was the castle Wiligrad, a few miles north of Schwerin located on Lake Schwerin:

Much more than the palace we have but more interested in the underlying steep bank, where wind and waves, in cooperation with the frost of last days, a lot of fascinating ice sculptures have formed. Very impressive, something I had never seen before!

Then we went on a bit Zippendorf walk the beach, also on the banks of Lake Schwerin located, but a few miles further south. From the beach was due to the snow but not much to see, instead posed some swans for their lives;)
